- Art is my passion. Any form of art (operas, photographs, plays, Lady Gaga, etc). I used to cut class, ditched dates and sex, walked miles to hang out by myself in a museum. I get moist talking about Gauguin.
- I will try anything once. If not yet, I will eventually.
- Drugs and I have a funny history. My first acid trip, I saw flowers popping out of air and vaginas out of trees. First time on speed, I was playing peek-a-boo with my laundry for 5 hours.
- I go to the movie theaters at least twice a week. My stomach may need to be pumped for possible popcorn overdose. Love films. I think this was sparked after seeing “The Neverending Story” for the first time as a child.
- There may or may not be a tape out there of me dancing in my bikini top in Central Park in early April for MTV. And there may or may not be an episode of New York Undercover where I’m making out with some kid on a stairwell during a club scene. If you find them, burn them.
- My feet are firmly planted in New York. I am in love with my city. I love the energy, the grittiness, and the confusion. Even though at times I could see myself having a small hut by the beach in Hawaii serving Spam 1000 ways, New York pretty much kickstarts my heart everyday to beat.
- I’m a fashion whore. I peed a drop when Anna Wintour (Vogue editrix and the devil in Prada incarnate) told me that she loved my dress. Ok it was two drops. Then I replied, “ehhhhduuuhhhhh”- *crickets*
- I wrote Christian Bale a letter when I was 9 after seeing “Empire of the Sun”. I memorized the song he sang (lip synched- camera magic, viola!) with the choir, Suo Gan, a Welsh lullaby in Welsh of course. He sent me back a picture of him wearing acidwash jeans. Melissa- age 9, Christian Bale- age 13.
